South Central Power Up Community Bike Ride

Calling all E-bikers who have completed their online and in-person training. Calling all members and supporters of the Strategy Center and Strategy and Soul.

BYOB – Bring Your Own Bike

And join us for a fun filled e-bike ride in South Central LA starting from Strategy and Soul Movement Center.

Let’s show off our bright orange bikes to recruit additional members, increase visibility of Black and Latinx cyclists in South LA and fight for climate justice and increased bicycle infrastructure in South LA without gentrification.

9am Meet at Strategy and Soul

Learn about the current work of the Strategy Center, enjoy refreshments, and make sure your bike is ready for a community Bike Ride.

Bonus pick up your one time spoke card to commemorate this month’s bike ride.

9:30am SHARP Roll Out into South Central

Lena Williams from People for Mobility Justice will lead everyone in a Bike Safety Review Training. We’ll go over our community ground rules for the ride. and roll by historic areas of South Central LA and make a stop by an additional community organization hosting the South Central Power Up e-bike program.
