Join the Strategy Center this weekend at the Crenshaw Remembers Festival; a 2-day festival to celebrate culture, politics, and resilience in South LA.
The Strategy Center is grateful to our friends at SoLA for making sure we were invented to take part in the community wide festival to celebrate the Crenshaw community, and in our view the Black community in South LA and beyond.
We’re working to increase our capacity to operate and run the Strategy and Soul Movement Center to create a center for Revitalization, Resilience, Rest, Resistance, re-remembering, Restoration, Revolution, Reparations, and so many more R’s to help rebuild the tradition of Black Transformative Organizing that speaks to the totality of urban life.
The Strategy Center is fighting for
Free Public Transportation
No Police on Metro buses and trains,
No Police in LAUSD schools
End Colonial Education in LAUSD
Stop Attacks on the Black Nation
Cut the LAPD budget by 50%
No Cars in LA
Fight to keep 50% of all public and PRivate sector jobs for Black applicants.
U.S. Hands off Cuba, Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, Bolivia, African Nations and all 3rd world nations.
This tied directly into a celebration of culture. We need your help to promote books, films, Afro-Centric Drumming, yoga, dance, protest and more for and by the movement.
